Twenty Eleven

Jackson James, we have successfully survived a FULL year together. Can you believe it?! Do you remember this time last year? I just re-read that post and I can't believe how much can change in a year. For one thing, the weather...

Last year a few flurries, this year a full-on blizzard. But that was days ago, the snow has now melted and it should be a warm 40 degrees tonight in Times Square.

Last year you had 4 teeth. Now you have eleventy. Last year you were almost walking. Now you're almost doing cartwheels down the hall. Last year you were a baby genius, this year you're a toddler genius.

I predict Twenty Eleven will have wonderful things in store for us! I resolve to be a more patient mommy, daughter, sister, friend and partner to your daddy. I resolve to eat more chocolate, and exercise more than twice. I resolve to let you get muddy, to ruin your clothes, and to allow you to draw with pen all over your tummy. I resolve to write you more letters, but only during naptime. I will write a children's book, about something. And I will love you even more than I did this year.

(Happy New Year to YOU and YOURS. xo)
